Manipuri language learning centres opened in Sylhet
A private organisation inaugurated two Manipuri language learning centres in Sylhet on Friday on the occasion of the International Mom Language Day.
The Nayabazar Manipuri Terms Learning Centre and Laldighipar Manipuri Terms Learning Centre are positioned in Nayabazar Khushighat of the town.
Cultural personality and Bangladesh Nritya Shilpi Sangsth Sylhet divisional President Onil Krishna Singh presided in the programme while Manipuri student Dipika Singh coordinated it.
Singh said he previously a desire to create Manipuri dialect centre in the town and finally he made it possible with the support of the people. “The terms centres have been established to save lots of the Manipuri terms,” he said.
