Man held with 2,000-plus yaba tablets interior stomach
Airport Armed Police (AAP) on Saturday arrested a guy from Dhaka’s Hazrat Shahjalal AIRPORT TERMINAL to carry 2,080 contraband yaba pills inside his belly.
The arrestee was recognized as Gulam Mostafa Mondol.
Sources in Dhaka airport said Airport Armed Police approached Gulam Mostafa seeing as he tried to sneak out through the domestic terminal the moment he had landed in the airport from Cox’s Bazar by a flight of US-Bangla Airlines.
As the law enforcers became suspicious of Mostafa’s behaviour, they arranged for an x-ray on his tummy. And a lot more than 2,000 yaba pills were detected in his belly.
Based on his information, the Airport terminal Armed Police as well arrested a lot of Rahman who visited receive the yaba consignment from the airport terminal.
During preliminary interrogation, Mostafa uncovered that he had set the yaba tablets inside his stomach at a resort of Kolatoli in Cox’s Bazar. Some Selim gave him the yaba consignment at the resort.
A case was filed beneath the Narcotics Control Action with Airport Police Station in this connection.
