CAAB permits Malaysia Airlines to resume flights to and from Dhaka
The Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) has approved Malaysia Airlines to resume flights to and from Dhaka from July 17.

The flag carrier of Malaysia received the approval from CAAB on July 8, the airline said in a news release.

Shaikh Bashir Ahmed, Vice Chairman and CEO, GSA-Malaysia Airlines in Bangladesh, said, "Recently, we requested CAAB's acceptance for resuming flights about the Dhaka-Kuala Lumpur path. On July 8, the civil aviation authority has approved our demand."

Thus, the carrier begins operating scheduled passenger flights to and from Dhaka from July 17.
