Turkish Airlines extends Dhaka-Istanbul flight cancellation until July 15
Turkish Airlines has declared in July 7 that it has expanded the suspension of flights between Dhaka and Istanbul until July 15 just after reevaluating the existing situation of coronavirus in Bangladesh.
Previously, the flag carrier of Turkey announced that it could resume flights to and from Dhaka from July 3. Even so, the Turkish government after that reevaluated the surge of coronavirus instances in Bangladesh and directed the airline to cancel its trip functions to the country.
Initially the carrier suspended the flights till July 7. But now the recent developments has forced the airline to help expand extend the flight suspension till July 15, TK explained in a news release.
Subsequently, flights TK712/3 are actually cancelled. TK712 was supposed to depart Istanbul at 18:10 local time and arrive Dhaka at 04:40 local period on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays while the return flight TK713 was to depart Dhaka at 06:35 local time and territory in Istanbul at 12:10 local time on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
The airline added in the news release that it's relocating the passengers on the subsequent available flights on priority basis in the same cabin without penalty or fare difference.
Passengers can also obtain refunds if they usually do not desire to reschedule their flights.
