'Liberation War Theatre Fest'  extended for three days
Marking the 'Genocide Day' and 11th death anniversary of Shahidul Zahir, the seven-day 'Liberation War Theatre Festival 2019' has been extended by three days. Theatre troupe Spardha will be staging as many as 15 shows of its new play titled 'Jibon O Rajnoitik Bastobota' instead of 11 shows which will come to an end on March 25.

In association with Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy and the Ministry of Cultural Affairs, the play is being staged at the National Theatre Hall of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA) in the capital.  After the success of last theatrical production 'Rizwan', Syed Jamil Ahmed has directed the latest play 'Jibon O Rajnoitik Bastobota' which is based on Shahidul Zahir's novel of the same title.

The maestro director Syed Jamil Ahmed has selected the casts for the play through four acting workshops held in November and December last year. Finally, the 20 actors have been selected from total 66 theatre artistes from different theatre organizations and institutes across the country.
