'Jibon O Rajnoitik Bastobota'
As a part of the seven-day 'Liberation War Theatre Festival 2019', theatre troupe "Spardha" is staging as many as 11 shows of its new play titled 'Jibon O Rajnoitik Bastobota' from March 14 to 20. After the success of last theatrical production 'Rizwan', Syed Jamil Ahmed has directed the latest play 'Jibon O Rajnoitik Bastobota' which is based on Shahidul Zahir's novel of the same title.
In association with Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy and the Ministry of Cultural Affairs, the play is being staged at the National Theatre Hall of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA) in the capital.
Maestro director Syed Jamil Ahmed has selected the casts for the play through four acting workshops held in November and December last year. Finally, the 20 actors have been selected from total 66 theatre artistes from different theatre organizations and institutes across the country. The play will be staged today 7:30pm, while there will be two shows at 3:30pm and 7:30pm on the last day on March 20.
