Journalist Rozina Islam freed over bail
Prothom Alo Senior Correspondent Rozina Islam premiered from jail ob bail this afternoon, seven days after she have been arrested in a circumstance filed by the health ministry.
She walked away of Kashimpur Central Women's jail in Gazipur around 4:15pm.
Earlier in the day a Dhaka court granted her interim bail in the event.
The court of Metropolitan Magistrate Mohammad Baki Billah issued the order today.
Rozina Islam was confined and assaulted on last Monday in an office room of the health ministry at the Secretariat for a lot more than five hours more than an allegation of 'trying to steal' confidential authorities documents.
Dr Md Shibbir Ahmed Osmani, deputy secretary of medical division, filed the complaint with the Shahbagh Law enforcement Station found in the night. The circumstance was filed against Rozina Islam beneath the Official Secrets Act.
