Jaya Ahsan to play serial killer in Indian web series 'Troyilokyo'
Bangladeshi popular actress Jaya Ahsan, who nowadays is equally popular in the film industries of two Bengals-Bangladesh and West Bengal, will be seen as a serial killer in the upcoming Indian ZEE5 web series titled 'Troyilokyo', directed by Indian filmmaker Arindam Sil. Arindam Sil's directed debut web series 'Troyilokyo' is a bilingual project, which will be produced in two languages, namely-Bangla and Hindi.
Celebrated Indian actor Tota Roy Choudhury will be seen playing one of the prominent roles along with Jaya in the web series. In the web series, set in the mid-19th century Bengal, Jaya will be seen portraying the role of a Bengali woman named 'Troyilokyo' who is a serial killer.
She is deeply associated with her partner and love interest, Kalibabu who is a con artist and has the necessary skills to go invisible without any trace. Priyonath Mukhopadhay, played by Tota Roy Choudhury, who is a detective will be seen hunting for this The shooting of 'Troyilokyo' will begin right before Durga Puja.
