Jaya thanks Shaon, Nuhash, and Sheila for 'Debi'
Jaya Ahsan, producer and lead actor of 'Debi- Misir Ali Prothombar,' recently thanked Meher Afroz Shaon, Nuhash Humayun, and Sheila Ahmed, for their support on the project.
The acclaimed actor posted two status updates on her verified Facebook fan page on Saturday to express her gratitude. She posted a status thanking Sheila Ahmed and Nuhash Humayun, Humayun Ahmed's children who created the Misir Ali series, along with photos of them attending the film's screening.
She wrote: "Since the beginning of my career when someone asked me who was my favorite actor I always replied: Sheila Ahmed. I am sure there is a huge fan following of Sheila's acting, just like myself. It is a great honor that Sheila Ahmed came to watch 'Debi, ' my first film as a producer."
"I especially want to mention Nuhash Humayun. Nuhash supported us throughout the 'Debi' project and I thank him for that," she added.
She also wrote: "We, who love and respect Humayun Ahmed sir, also deeply love their family members. We love you Nova, Sheila, Bipasha, and Nuhash. Our best wishes for all of you and Humayun Ahmed sir. Sir will live on through you and your work."
