If you have a crisis during Chennai lockdown, you may hail an Ola cab
Ride hailing assistance Ola about Thursday said it has unveiled a crisis service in its application to serve people following the Tamil Nadu government announced the new stage of lockdown which makes effect from tomorrow.

The service would permit all non-COVID medical trips and in addition take people to and from the airport or railway stations through the lockdown, a company statement said.

Ola said it has mapped above 350 hospitals across the location into the mobile software and the provider would also be available to ferry clients to airports and railway stations vice-versa.

The company said all of the driver partners include hygiene kits and safety equipment amongst others.  “...following new guidelines issued by Tamil Nadu government, all of us are launching ‘Ola Crisis’ services to permit essential mobility for the people of Chennai whilst following highest standards of safe practices and hygiene,” service spokesperson Anand Subramanian said.

Ola Crisis cabs would operate without several driver and two passengers. People requiring the provider can e book a cab by picking the ‘Ola Crisis’ category to avail the service.
