BSFMSTU VC Prof Samsuddin Ahmed mourns loss of life of Kamal Lohani
Prof Dr Syed Samsuddin Ahmed, VC of Bangamata Sheikh Fojilatunnesa Mujib Technology and Technology University, Jamalpur on Saturday expressed profound shock at the death of Ekushey award winning journalist, noted cultural personality and veteran freedom fighter Kamal Lohani.
In a message of condolence, Dr Samsuddin Ahmed said, we've misplaced a personality having progressive mindset and an extraordinary fighter of non-communal spirit at the death of Kamal Lohani.
He said that Kamal Lohani played a good pivotal role in the Bangalees’ Language Activity, establishing self-right and autonomy along with the War of Liberation.
BSFMSTU's Vice-Chancellor prayed for the salvation of the departed soul and conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family.
Kamal Lohani died today while undergoing treatment at the ICU of Sheikh Russel Gastro Liver Institute and Medical center in Mohakhali.
