HT Imam is forget about
Hossain Toufique Imam, referred to as HT Imam, the political adviser to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, passed on at early time of Thursday. (Inna lilla.....Rajiun). He was 82.
PM's special assistant and Awami League Workplace Secretary Barrister Biplab Barua confirmed the death information on his verified Facebook webpage around 1:20am.
The 82-year-old political leader breathed his last at 1:15am while underwent treatment at a healthcare facility, Biplab Barua said.
Imam have been admitted to the CMH with multiple age-related complications, including kidney disease, two weeks ago. His health deteriorated on Tuesday.
The first namaj-e-janaza for HT Imam will be held at 11 am at the Ullapara Akbar Ali Government College ground in Sirajganj.
His human body will be kept at the Central Shaheed Minar from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm for people from all walks of existence to pay for their last respect.
The next janaza will be held at Azad Mosque in Gulshan after Asr prayer. From then on, Imam will come to be buried at Banani Graveyard.
President Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina expressed profound shock and sorrow in the loss of life of HT Imam.
In a condolence message, the President said the role of HT Imam was incredibly important in the Great Liberation War.
“He (Imam) spent some time working all his lifestyle to build up the spirit of the country’s independence and the fantastic War of Liberation. Besides, he played a respected role in operating the federal government in the recently independent region,” he mentioned.
The head of the state said HT Imam as a government official also manufactured important contribution to conducting the elections of Bangladesh Awami League in the nationwide elections.
“At the loss of life of HT Imam, Bangladesh Awami League lost a dedicated leader,” the President observed.
In another condolence message, the Primary Minister prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
Toufique Imam have been serving due to the political advisor to the Prime Minister since 2014.
