Harun, six others become Addl DIGs, 63 promoted as SPs
Seven Superintendent of Police (SP) were promoted as Additional Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police on Sunday.
Public Security Division under the Ministry of Home Affairs issued a gazette notification signed by its Deputy Secretary (Police-Section-1) Dhananjay Kumar Das on Sunday.
In line with the gazette notification, the newly promoted officials happen to be SP of Criminal Investigation Section (CID) Md Syful Islam, Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Syed Nurul Islam, DC of the DMP Md Anisur Rahman, DC of the DMP Biplob Bijoy Talukder, DC of the DMP Md Harun-ur-Rashid, SP of the Particular Branch (SB) Md Moniruzzaman and AIG of the authorities Headquarters Shiekh Rafiqul Islam.
The government also promoted 63 additional superintendent of police working in several places to superintendent of police.
Police Branch-1 of the general public Security Division of the house Ministry issued a gazette notification and asked the officers to send their joining letters to the Senior Secretary of the general public Security Division of the house Ministry.
The order will succeed from the date of joining, said the gazette notification.
Dhananjoy Kumar Das, deputy secretary of the house Ministry, issued the official circular with respect to the President.
With the promotion, they'll be entitled to receive the 5th grade of National Spend Scale 2015 (Tk 43,000-69,850).
