Govt urged never to allow cattle markets found in four cities including Dhaka
The National Technical Advisory Committee on Covid-19 has recommended the federal government not to allow setting up of cattle markets in Dhaka, Narayanganj, Gazipur and Chattogram ahead of the upcoming Eid-ul-Adha.

The committee also suggested the federal government to impose restrictions in order that none could move other parts of the united states from these four districts through the Eid holiday to avoid the spread of coronavirus.

The suggestions received from the 14th online appointment of the committee held on Friday.

Besides, the commitee made numerous recommendations.

The suggestions and tips were explained in a news release signed by the committee president Prof Dr Mohammad Shahidullah and member secretary Prof Dr Mirjadi Sebrina Flora.

The press release reads that the virus spread hasn't yet come in order. In such a situation, free movements in different areas including Dhaka pose considerable risks to public wellbeing.

Regarding the establishing of cattle markets, the committee needed not allowing virtually any catte promote in Dhaka, Narayanganj, Gazipur and Chittagong. "In such a circumstance, sacrificial animals can be bought through digital program. Besides, the sacrificial animal markets can be established up in other places following the infection prevention suggestions," it said.

The news release also recommended to check out numerous rules regarding the setting up of cattle markets and slaughtering of animals. 

"Sacrificial cattle markets shouldn't be allowed inside the places. The cattle markets must be set up in open ground where social distancing guidelines and sufficient measures to chek an infection should be taken. Elderly people (above 50 years of age) and sick individuals must refrain from visiting the cattle industry. There has to be seperate access and exit items at the cattle markets. All the people who will arrive at the cattle industry must put on masks compulsarily. Sacrificial animals cannot be slaughtered at the owner's house premises, somewhat they must become slaughtered at the location corporation's designated locations. If it is possible to slaughter the animals through on line orders, it'll be encouraged," the press release said.
