Ten worst coronavirus infected areas in capital Dhaka
The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) has revealed the names of 10 most coronavirus infected areas in the administrative centre.

Prof Dr Nasima Sultana, Additional Director General (Admn) of DGHS, revealed the names of the areas in her daily online health bulletin on Friday afternoon.

The areas are Rajarbag, Kakrail, Jatrabari, Mugda, Mohakhali, Mohammadpur, Lalbagh, Tejgaon, Malibagh and Babu Bazar. 

Nasima said the quantity of patients in these areas ranges from 73 to 200.

The tally of coronavirus cases crossed the 13,000-mark in Bangladesh on Thursday with a spike in fresh cases within the last 24 hours.

Prof Nasima said 709 more persons tested positive for coronavirus, taking the amount of such cases in the country to 13,134.

Besides, the death toll from coronavirus in the united states rose to 206 with seven more deaths within the last a day till Friday.

Of the seven deaths, five were male and two female.  

Bangladesh reported the first coronavirus case on March 8 as the first death on march 18.

The number of people making recovery has passed 2,000 to 2,101 as 191 more patients conquered Covid-19 within the last 24 hours, Prof Nasima said.

She said 5,941 samples were tested in the last 24 hours. With this, a complete of 111,454 samples have up to now been tested in the united states.

On Thursday, Bangladesh reported 13 more deaths from coronavirus and 706 new cases.
