Dhaka’s air ‘hazardous’
Bangladesh's capital Dhaka ranked the worst type of in the QUALITY OF AIR Index (AQI and it was classified while hazardous on Sunday morning, reports UNB.

It imposes a wellbeing warning of emergency circumstances for all.

Dhaka had an AQI score of 339 at 07:54am. The surroundings was classified as 'dangerous'.

China's Beijing and Kuwait's Kuwait town occupied the second and third spots found in the list of metropolitan areas with the worst quality of air with AQI scores of 176 and 164 respectively.

When the AQI benefit is a lot more than 301, it is a health warning of emergency conditions and many people are apt to be affected.

The AQI, an index for reporting daily air quality, informs persons how clean or polluted the air of some city is, and what associated health effects may be a problem for them.

In Bangladesh, the AQI is founded on five criteria pollutants - Particulate Subject (PM10 and PM2.5), NO2, CO, Thus2 and Ozone (O3).

The department of environment in addition has set national ambient quality of air standards for these pollutants. These standards try to drive back adverse human wellbeing impacts.

Dhaka has long been grappling with polluting of the environment. Its quality of air usually enhances during monsoon.
