Some malls to reopen in Dhaka from Sunday
Some stores will be reopened in Dhaka on Sunday as the government allowed the business establishments to stay open till 5pm before Eid-ul-Fitr.
But big malls in the capital will never be opened as the virus cases rose rapidly.
Bangladesh shop owners' secretary general Jahir Ahmed Bhuiyan said, "We have made a decision to open shops in Gausia, Chandi Chak, Eastern Plaza, Eastern Mallika, Gazi Shopping Complex and Elephant Road. We will follow the government's health guidelines."
Meanwhile, the owners of local fashion house will reopen their shops according to their own decision following health guidelines.
