CAAB permits Emirates to use flights to Dhaka
The Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) has approved the Dubai-based carrier Emirates to use flights to Dhaka in a permit issued on June 18.

Initially Emirates received the approval of operating three weekly flights on the subject of Dhaka-Dubai-Dhaka route from June 21.

However, due to the current travelling ban in Bangladeshis in UAE following a coronavirus outbreak, the airline can only carry transit passengers in the route and UAE nationals.

By yet, Emirates has 40 destinations available for travellers including Colombo, Sialkot, Istanbul; Auckland, Beirut, Brussels, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Barcelona and Washington DC as the airline's flights from Sri Lanka, Vietnam and Pakistan is only going to carry outbound travellers to the UAE and onward locations.

In addition, Emirates will add flights to the next cities in July: London Heathrow, Manchester, Frankfurt, Paris, Zurich, Madrid, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Dublin, NY JFK, Toronto, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Hong Kong.

Flight bookings could be made online in emirates.com or perhaps via travel companies. Customers will get more info on Emirates' flights and current offerings at: www.emirates.com/wherewefly.

Given the existing context of the COVID-19 pandemic, Emirates has implemented a thorough set of steps at every step of the customer journey to guarantee the security of its customers and workers on the floor and in the air, including the distribution of complimentary hygiene kits containing masks, gloves, hand sanitisers and antibacterial wipes to all or any customers.

Also, customers will be reminded that travel restrictions remain in place, and travellers will only be accepted in flights if they adhere to the eligibility and entry requirements requirements of their destination countries.
