Four DIGs of police transferred
In a major reshuffle in the police administration, four deputy inspector generals (DIGs) of police have already been transferred.
A good circular signed by Dhananjoy Kumar Das, deputy secretary of Community Security Division of Residence Ministry, was issued found in this respect on Wednesday.
Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) Commissioner Md Humayun Kabir, also DIG, was used in Particular Branch (SB), while Rajshahi Spectrum DIG AKM Hafiz Akhter was transferred to Dhaka Metropolitan Law enforcement (DMP) as Additional Commissioner.
Additional Commissioner (DB) of the DMP Abdul Baten, also DIG, was shifted to Rajshahi Range as its chief while DIG of the SB Abul Kalam Siddique was transferred to the RMP as Commissioner.
