Fire at plastic factory
A fire broke out at a plastic factory in West Islambagh area in old parts of Dhaka on Thursday.
Fire Service and Civil Defence Control Room duty officer Ershadul Islam said the fire broke out at a tin-shed plastic factory around 12:40pm in Baganbari and soon engulfed the entire area.
Being informed, 11 firefighting units rushed to the scene and were trying to douse the blaze.
