Faridur Reza Sagar, 5 others survive in chopper crash
Channel i Managing Director Faridur Reza sagar and five others survived as a helicopter carrying them made mergency landing in Godagari of Rajshahi on Thursday afternoon.
Police said, the helicopter nose dived from 60 foot above soon after it took off from Godagari.
The other passengers are ; Swarna Kishori Foundation chairman Farzana Brownia, singer Ferdous Ara, Rafiqul Islam, Tufan Ali and Sumon Ali.
Godagari Police OC Jahangir Alam said, Sagar and others joined a 'Swarnakishori' programme for the channel at Anwara Fahim Ziauddin Pilot Girls' High School this afternoon.
The accident took place when there were returning to Dhaka from the programme at about 2:30pm
The helicopter crashed into the land due to inclement weather caused by Cyclone Titli.
On information, fire fighters and police rushed to the scene.
After rescue, police first rushed them to a hospital at Godagari. They all suffered minor injuries.
They are now on their way to Dhaka by a flight of Novoair.
