Fahad murder: Accused Shamim arrested in Satkhira
A team of Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested one of the accused in BUET student Abrar Fahad murder case from Shyamnagar upazila of Satkhira.
The arrest was made at Ichakur village of the upazila on Friday (October 11).
Arrestee was-- identified as Shamim Billah, son of Bablu Rahman—a resident of the aforementioned area. He is the number-14 accused of the case.
He is a second year student of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineer Department of the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET).
Anisur Rahman, Sub Inspector (investigation) of Shyamnagar Police Station said: “A team of DMP DB police arrested Shamim Billah. They can detail on it.”
