2 fishery workers electrocuted in Satkhira
Two fishery workers were electrocuted to death in Debhata upazila of Satkhira on Tuesday (September 24).
The two victims—Nurul Haque, 55, Radha Pod, 38—were employees of a shrimp fishery at Hirarchak of the upazila.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Debhata police station Biplob Kumar Saha told Bnaglanews that he had visited the spot.
Prima facie, they died from electrocution, because marks of burn were visible in their bodies. Two bodies were sent to Satkhira Sadar Hospital morgue, OC added.
