Exhibition on marine wildlife underway at BSA
A five-day-long interactive exhibition titled 'Healthy Ocean, Healthy People' is underway at the National art Plaza of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA), Segun Bagicha in the capital.

The inaugural ceremony of the exhibition was held on Thursday on the gallery premises. The inaugural ceremony was attended by Captain Akkas Ali, member of the WCS Citizen Science Fishermen Safety Network,  Fisheries Department Director General Abu Sayed Md Rasehdul Haque, Chief Forest conservator of Bangladesh Forest Department Md Shafiul Alam Chowdhury, Cultural Ministry Joint Secretary Mahbubur Rahman and WCS country representative for Bangladesh Zahangir Alom.

The Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) organized the first-of-its-kind interactive exhibition aiming to exhibit marine wildlife in the Bay of Bengal and Bangladesh's efforts to conserve wildlife.

Organisers said that visitors can explore the amazing diversity of dolphins, whales, sharks and other aquatic creatures in Bangladesh's marine waters and to discover why the survival of these threatened oceanic lives in the Bay of Bengal is critical for the continued growth and well-being of our nation.The exhibition remains open to all every day from 11am to 8pm, until November 5.
