Sabnam Faria injured
Popular Bangladeshi actor Sabnam Faria broke her wrist on Friday night when she slipped from her home staircase in the dark. She was immediately taken to Dhaka's Square Hospital and given treatment. Later, she was discharged and taken home by her family.
On Saturday morning, however, Faria, who stars in recently released film 'Debi,' made light of her current situation and posted a photo on her Facebook profile showing herself in the hospital bed and her right hand in a cast. She jokingly wrote:
"There is a saying in our shooting industry that if a prop breaks then the film is definitely a hit.' 'Debi' is already a hit but I have broken my finger to make the film a super hit. No one can stop it from being a blockbuster now." According to her doctors, a finger and a portion of Faria's wrist were fractured.
"Jokes apart, I cannot attend any shootings for the next 21 days for my condition. I am sorry everyone. And I ask for everyone's best wishes so that I can recover as soon as possible. And if anyone misses me too much then 'Debi' is running. You can watch that," she added on the status update.
