Swapnadal to stage 'Tringsha Shatabdi' in Japan
Theatre troupe 'Swapnadal' will stage its acclaimed anti-war play 'Tringsha Shatabdi' at Festival Tokyo 2018 in Japan. A 13-member group of the theatre troupe will fly to Japan on Tuesday to attend the 37-day festival, which began on October 13 and is scheduled to end on November 18, reports.

The members are: Juana Sobnom, Fazle Rabbi, Samad Bhuiyan, Shishir Shikder, Zebun Nesa, Shakawat Shamol, Mehedi Rana, Sonali Rahman, Arko Apu, Nishorgo Sobnom, Anindo Antorikkho, Sumaya Akhter, and Zahid Repon. 

Swapnadal will represent Bangladesh for the first time in the Japan-based festival, said Zahid Repon, founder of the troupe and director of the play. The play will be staged at Theatre West auditorium of Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre on November 3 and 4. 

'Tringsha Shatabdi,' written by Indian playwright Badal Sarkar and directed by Zahid Repon, unveils the genocides that took place at different times in the world through interrogations of some historical characters.
