DU students continue class boycott locking buildings
Dhaka University students continued class boycott for the second consecutive day on Monday.
They put academic and administrative buildings under lock and key this morning and staged sit-in with different playcards.
As a result, all classes and examinations and administrative activities came to a halt.
Shakil Miah, spokesperson of the demonstrators, said students took part in the movement spontaneous.
Earlier on Sunday, spokesperson Abed Hossain Akash announced to boycott classes for an indefinite period to press home for their demand to cancel the seven government colleges' affiliation with DU.
Other demands are: to cancel the seven government colleges' affiliation from the running session, to publish results of all university examinations within two months, to digitalisation administrative activities and to control vehicular movement on the campus premises.
