Cricket to go back back again to fields soon, expectations Khaled Mahmud
Former captain of Bangladesh cricket crew and the head coach of Dhaka Abahani Small Khaled Mahmud hoped that cricket will return back to the discipline shortly which includes been halted because of coronavirus outbreak.
Along with all sports events, Dhaka Premier Cricket league was as well halted as per direction of the federal government as a result of virus.
“It had been the government’s decision to suspend all sporting events from coast to coast. We have to allow it. We recognize that this virus is dangerous for public overall health.” he said.
“But the boys are wanting to play. We hope cricket will get back in to the field in the near future,” Khaled told press at BCB Academy ground after a short program with Ahabani players to enjoy the birth centenary of daddy of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
“I don’t want release a the boys from our camp. They could get back to their villages where in fact the concern with coronavirus transmission is bigger. If any player is tested positive, that might be very unsafe. My concept to them is in which to stay camp avoiding the open public transports,” Mahmud added.
Most of the Abahani players will be busy with their health during the coming days.
