Couple held with drugs in city
Police detained a couple along with drugs in Dhaka's Uttara area on Sunday night.
The arrested are Bashar, 45, and his wife Rashida Begum, 36.
Uttara Pashchim Police Station Sub-inspector (SI) Mizanur said police detained drug trader Rashida from Khalpar area of Uttara around 9:00 pm.
Later, according to her information, police conducted a drive at a house in Tekpar area and nabbed Bashar.
Police also recovered 300 grams of hemp and 25 pieces of Yaba tablets from their possessions, the SI said.
