'Drug trader' stabbed dead in Dhaka
A suspected drug dealer was stabbed to death at Merul Badda in the capital on Saturday night.
The deceased was identified as Nasir, 35, a resident of Jhilpar area.
Badda Police Station officer in-charge Rafukul Islam said, drug addict Arif in the area stabbed on Nasir's chest around 9:30pm.
Critically injured Nasir was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where the on-duty doctor declared him dead around 10:30 pm.
Nasir was a drug seller, the OC said.
The body was kept at DMCH morgue.
Police, however, detained Arif.
