Children with special needs perform in historical plays
The four year anniversary of PFDA-Vocational Training Centre Trust (PFDA-VTC Trust) was celebrated with a dance-drama titled 'Manchitrer Jonno' at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy on Friday. Theatre group "Karishma," comprised of 23 children with special needs, presented the dance-dramabased on the events of our war of independence.
The dance-drama revisited events that took place between 1947 and 1971. Social Welfare Minister Rashed Khan Menon graced the program as chief guest.
Other prominent persons attending were Chairman of the trust, Sajida Rahman Danny, Kazi Amin, Executive Chairman of Bangladesh Investment Development Authority, Imran Karim, Vice Chairman of Confidence Group, Liaquat Ali Lucky, Director General of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy and theatre personality, Ramendu Majumdar.
