Child raped in Dhaka; case filed
A five-year-old girl child was violated in Dhamrai on the outskirts of Dhaka on Sunday.
Suspect Hridoy Hossain, son of Saiful Islam, went into hiding soon after the incident.
The victim's family lodged a complaint with Dhamrai Police Station on Tuesday night in this connection, OC Deepak Chandra Saha confirmed.
The minor girl was sent to One Stop Crisis Centre of Dhaka Medical College Hospital on Wednesday morning for medical test, the OC added.
According to the complaint, Hridoy tactfully took the child to his house in Mandarchap area on Sunday afternoon and raped her.
Later, the child informed her family about the matter.
