Case filed over torching Feni Madrashah student
A was filed over setting fire to Feni madrasha student Nusrat Jahan Rafi on Monday, three day affter the incident.
The victim's brother Mahmudul Hasan filed the case with Sonagazi Police Station at about 3:30pm accusing four masked men and their associates, said OC MOazzem Hossain.
Police, however, detained six people in this connection.
An Alim examinee from Sonagazi Fazil Madrsaha,Rafi has been undergoing treatment at the Burn Unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH). She was put on life support on Monday noon.
Rafi was set on fire allegedly by some fellows on Saturday morning shortly before the beginning of an examination.
Police said the victim had lodged a complaint against the madrasha principal over sexual harassment on March 17.
