Businessman Noor Ali, wife granted bail in fraudulent case
A good Dhaka court on Tuesday granted bail for Noor Ali, managing director of Unique Group, and his wife Salina Ali in a case filed on charges of fraudulent practices and embezzlement.
Dhaka Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Asaduzzaman Noor passed the order following the couple surrendered prior to the court and sought bail in the event.
Earlier, the court in Monday issued an arrest warrant against Noor Ali and his wife and Unique Group chairman Selina Ali because they did not really appear prior to the court through the hearing of the case.
On February 24, this past year, Selim Ahmed, owner of Jalal Ahmed Spinning Mills and Shah Fateullah Textile Mills, filed the case against the couple over a dispute over registration of a flat in Unique Heights in Paribagh in the administrative centre.
According to the case, the accused took Tk 29.28 million from the plaintiff over the sale of living area. Although the accused had been likely to get the toned authorized in 2015, they held stalling. That is why the couple possesses been accused of embezzling profit in the case.
