Two judges appointed to Appellate Division
The President has appointed Justice Tariq ul Hakim and Justice Obaidul Hassan to the Supreme Court's Appellate Division.
The Law and Justice Division issued an order, signed for legal reasons and Justice Division Secretary Md Golam Sarwar, on Wednesday on the appointment of Justice Hakim and Justice Hassan.
Their appointments will be effective from the date of their choosing oath.
Justice Hakim obtained MSc from the University of London. He was known as to the Bar of England and Wales from the Society of Gray's Inn London.
He enrolled mainly because an advocate of the District Judges Courtroom and the High Courtroom Division in 1987 and 1989 respectively.
He was elevated while additional judge of the Large Court found in 2002 and appointed judge of the same division found in 2004.
Justice Hakim features attended international seminars, workshops and laws conferences found in India, Switzerland and Nepal.
Justice Hassan obtained BSS (Hons) and MSS (Economics) and LLB from the University of Dhaka.
He enrolled just as an advocate of the District Judges Court, the High Courtroom and the Appellate Division found in 1986, 1988 and 2005 respectively.
He was elevated seeing that additional judge of the High Court in '09 2009 and appointed judge of the same division found in 2011.
He has worked as being chairman of the International Crimes Tribunal-2.
Justice Hassan features taken part within an international conference found in Hong Kong and visited China, India, Pakistan, Nepal, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Saudi Arabia.
