Bus-truck collision kills 2 in Sylhet
Two passengers were killed and at least thirty others wounded following a collision between a bus and a truck at Lalabazar area on Sylhet-Dhaka highway on Sunday (July 15).
The accident happened, around 1:30 pm, at Satmail area. The casualties could not be identified immediately.
Quoting eyewitnesses, 2 male passengers were killed on the spot. The injured were transported to Sylhet M.A.G. Osmani Medical College Hospital and different private hospitals.
The deceased were aged around 30-35, said Khairul Fazal, officer-in-charge of Sylhet South Surma Police station.
