PM Hasina offers prayers at 3 Sylhet shrines

SYLHET: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina offered prayers at the three 'dargah' (shrine) of three eminent Muslim saints in Sylhet city Tuesday (January 30).
Sheikh Hasina arrived in Sylhet in the morning on a daylong visit.
She reached at the shrine of Hazrat Shahjalal (R) from Osmani International Airport and offered prayer.
Later, the premier visited the shrines of Hazrat Shah Paran (RA) and Hazrat Gazi Borhan Uddin (R).
She is expected to address a public meeting at Sylhet Government Alia Madrasah ground, in the afternoon.
She will inaugurate 14 development projects and lay foundation stones of 24 others, said sources.
Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader and Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith were among others accompanied the premier in Sylhet.
