BUET admission test begins
The admission test of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) for the sessions 2019-20 began on Sunday.
The written examination began around 9am and will go on till 12pm.
Earlier on October 12, the agitating students of BUET called off their demonstration for Sunday and Monday (October 13 and 14) considering the admission test.
Abrar Fahad, 21, a second year student of Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), was found dead at his dormitory Sher-e-Bangla Hall early hours of October 7.
The dormitory students alleged that Fahad was beaten to death by the university unit Chhatra League men at one stage of questioning. They suspect Fahad a Shibir activist following his facebook post over recent several deals with India.
