BUET student found dead
A student of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) was found dead at Sher-e-Bangla Hall early Monday.
Hailed from Kushtia, deceased Abrar Fahad, 21, was a second year student of Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE).
BUET physician Masuk Elahi said, general students saw Fahad's body lying in between the ground and first floor of Sher-e-Bangla Hall around 3am and informed him.
The body bore several injury marks, he said.
Later, the authorities and the students took the body to Dhaka Medical College Hospital around 6am.
Chakbazar Police Station OC Sohrab Hossain confirmed the matter.
Fahad's fellows claimed that he was beaten to death.
