Biman first hajj flight on July 4
The first hajj flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, for the year 2019 (Hijri 1440), is set to left here for Saudi Arabia July 4.
Biman will operate 157 dedicated and 32 scheduled hajj flights this year.
Biman General Manger (Public Relations) Shakil Meraj confirmed the matter to Banglanews Saturday (May 11).
Operations of pre-hajj flights will end on August 5.
From August 17 to September 14, the pilgrims will be carried back here.
Sources said that 1,27,198 people from Bangladesh will perform hajj this year. Of them, Biman will carry 63,599.
