Bangladeshi short film at Romanian festival
Romania's '12 Months Film Festival' is a platform in Europe for appreciated heterogeneous filmmakers. This festival is organized in Cluj-Napoca, with the aim of promoting and displaying unconventional films. 

According to the festival rules, a total of 57 films, which were finally selected from the film for the jury selection, were released in January edition. Among them is included a Bangladeshi short film. Faridul Ahasan Shourav is the director of the Experimental Film. A 10-minute length movie, A Scribble Story, is mainly a story-oriented experiment.

About the movie, the director said, the film's experimentation surrounds around the visualization of the known-unknown and expressed-unexpressed stories of everyday social life. It is a scenic implementation of life's expected and unexpected highs and lows, successes and failures, hopes and despair, and those of awaiting.

These random stories at different places and times are universal. In spite of being isolated and scattered, the stories are somehow connected and composed through the combination of words and scenes.

Sahela Akter Umama, Rehnuma Antika, Nusrat Nowrin, Shuvo Dutta, Mahnoor Tabassum Meem, Zamim Hossain Chowdhury and Muzaddid Al Arifin were responsible for the cinematography of A Scribble Story, shot in different parts of Dhaka for around four months. In the vocals were Solika Akter and Nivedita Alice. 

The film is produced by Safwath Tasnia Priyanka and directed by Faridul Ahasan Shourav.In Romania, this event is contested in two categories. In one category, the names of the best three winners in every section are announced through the judges' direct ratings. In the other, 3 highest rated films are dubbed special on the basis of online voting.
