Aparna Sen and Konkona Sen Sharma to star in hindi film
Aparna Sen and Konkona Sen Sharma, the mother-daughter duo, are pairing up yet again after an extended gap. This time around Aparna Sen is set to direct a Hindi film starring Konkona, Arjun Rampal and TanmayDhanania in the lead.
It's a striking storyline of a good trio and how their lives get connected after a single horrific incident.
The film dives deep inside darker alleys of an clear crime, exploring not only how it traumatizes the victims, but also perpetrators of the crime.
It will reveal one's idealistic views and how they are drastically altered when a truth comes knocking on the entranceway.
Sen, who in addition has penned the script, shares with ETimes: "What attracted me to the subject is the psychology of the 3 main protagonists. The account strips off the layers and slowly and gradually builds up facades to find out the true person underneath."
She adds the account will show us two different worlds of India, the one which survives in urban slums holding on to age-old beliefs and the other can be an educated urbane India with a 'progressive' value program. "I am quite positive that this film can make the viewers think about certain questions - the kinds that torment me every day," she explained.
