'Amra Ekta Cinema Banabo' gets censor certificate
National Film Award winning director Ashraf Shishir has completed his mega-project 'Amra Ekta Cinema Banabo', a 21-hour feature film, for quite some time now. 'Amra Ekta Cinema Banabo', produced by Impress Telefilms Ltd, follows the deceptive turns and twists of history. 

From the liberation war to the small dreams of people of a locality, their struggles and aspirations are featured in the film. Recently, first two chapters, around three-hour long each, of the black and white film has got the censor certificate, informed the director. 

'The first two chapters of the film, which consists of eight chapters, were screened on May 16 at the censor board, which later issued uncut certificate on May 19,' said Ashraf Shishir, who had worked on, as he termed, the 'free-length film' for over nine years.

The film Shot in Ishwardi of Pabna and adjacent villages surrounding the Padma River and the Hardinge Bridge, the film stars Raisul Islam Azad, Sumona Soma, Shadhin Khasru, Imran Imu, Masum Aziz, Kaberi Rai Chowdhury and others.Ashraf Shishir's debut film 'Gaariwala' won twenty five international awards to date along with a National Film Award.
