Alamgir Kabir made Bangladesh’s first secy to Switzerland
BHOLA: Bhola’s Additional Deputy Commissioner (Tax) Md Alamgir Kabir was appointed the country’s first secretary (commerce) to Switzerland.
Alamgir earlier served as the secretary to Bangladesh Mission in Geneva.
Alamgir confirmed the matter of his appointment to Banglanews Tuesday (June 26).
He was selected as the secretary to Switzerland for four years, following an interview taken by a three-member secretary committee headed by the commerce minister, he said.
However, Alamgir joined as the Additional Deputy Commissioner (Tax) in Bhola in February this year.
