Actress Munia busy with acting, hosting
Actress Munia Islam started her journey in acting through a drama serial titled 'Agnipoth', directed by Tonmoy Tansen in 2012. Later she engaged with acting. But she also hosted TV shows.
For the last three years she has been hosting Channel I's music related show 'Gaaney Gaaney Sokal Shuru'. From Monday she will host an ongoing show on same channel titled 'Ebong Cinemar Gaan'. Munia is excited in this regard. In fact, Munia takes the challenge to host two shows at a time but she does not keep herself detach from acting.
Munia is also acting in an important role in Rulin Rahman's a drama serial ‘Sutoy Bandha Sukher Paira’. Besides this serial, she will also act in Azad Kalam's serial 'Twin Villa'. Therefore, Munia is also hosting BTV's two band music related shows 'Rock & Roll' and 'Rock Carnival'.
While sharing her feelings about to be engaged with acting and hosting simultaneously Munia said, "Acting and hosting are two separate things. I have love and emotion to these things by different ways. It is true that first of all I am actress. Then I am a host/presenter.
After informing about acting I could become a host. So, I am comfortable in acting." Munia also said that it was a great luck for her to get the opportunity to act in Afzal Hossain's 'Chhoto Kaku' series. 'Bou Boka Dei', 'Tumi Ashbe Boley', 'Third Generation', etc are Munia-starrer mentionable works. Recently she completed MBA from University of Dhaka. She also acted in Gias Uddin Selim's movie 'Swapnojal'.
