Accused takes poison at courtroom, hospitalised
An accused on a case on Monday attempted to kill self by firmly taking poison at a Sirajganj court during trial procedure.

The incident occurred in the courtroom of Sirajganj Women of all ages and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal-2 at noon. Accused Mukter Hossain, 35, is now going through treatment at Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib Standard Hospital. 

Witnesses said Mukter was first appeared before the tribunal in case filed against him by his wife. At one level of the trial, he ate pesticide on the dock at courtroom and fell ill there. 

Judge Abdullah Al Mamun then buy to immidiately change the accused to a good hospital.

Sirajganj courtroom inspector Abul Kalam Azad said an accused suddenly took pesticide throughout a hearing of a circumstance at the courtroom and fell sick. He was taken up to hospital according to court purchase, he added.

Additional Public Prosecutor advocate Anwar Parvej Limon said a plastic bottle was suddenly fell off from the hand of the accused through the hearing and the person fell ill simultaneously.

Dr Faisal Ahmed of the hospital said state of the accused is way better now. He's taking treatment under law enforcement custody, he added.
