5 Ansar Al Islam men held in Rajshahi
Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) conducted a drive and detained five members of banned militant outfit Ansar Al Islam from Belpukur area of Rajshahi Saturday (June 29) night.
A foreign pistol, 2 magazines, 5 rounds of bullet, 24 cocktails, 10 jihadi books and 8 jihadi notebooks were recovered from their possession.
They were taken to RAB-5 Headquarters for interrogation.
Details will be disclosed at a press briefing at noon, said RAB-5 Company Commander Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Mainul Islam.
