3 of a family group found dead at Bandarban expatriate’s house
Law enforcement have recovered the 3 bodies of a family group from their home in Champatali village of Bandarban’s Lama Municipality.

Assistant superintendent of police (Lama Circle) Md. Rizwanul Islam said they visited recover the bodies after family members of the deceased educated the matter to them at 7.00pm on Friday.

The deceased were discovered as Majeda Begum, 40, wife of Kuwait expatriate Nur Mohammad, her children Rafi, 13, and 10-month-old Nuri.

Nur Mohammad’s younger brother Abdul Khaleque said the bodies of Majeda and  her youngster Nuri and eldest daughter Rafi were seen lying at Nur Mohammad’s bedroom.

“These were seen lying at Nur Mohammad’s room when we peeked through the back window of the home at 7pm as there was no response all day long and the door of the primary gate of the home was closed. Later, we informed Lama Police Station about the problem,” he added.

A team of police led by ASP Md. Rizwanul Islam entered in to the residence and recovered the bodies at about 8.15pm.
