Bandarban road communication resumes
The road communication of Bandarban with other parts resumed on Wednesday, after eight days of suspension.
Bandarban road connection with the rest of the country was snapped as Bandarban-Keranihat road went under water on July 8 due to incessant rain and onrush of hilly water from upstream.
Small number of vehicles plied on the road since Tuesday afternoon while it became normal this morning.
Local transport workers said, there are still 1-1.5 feet water on the road but it will not hamper plying vehicles.
