3 killed in Barishal road crash
Three persons were killed as a covered van hit a truck at Khanjapur area in Gaurnadi upazila of Barishal early Saturday.
The deceased were recognized as Akhter Hossain, 30, of Chortola area of Mehendiganj upazila, Russell, 22, of Barisal Sadar upazila and and helper Md Sohan, 22, of Mathbaria of Pirojpur.
Monirul Islam Buuiyan, officer-in-fee of Gaurnadi highway police station, confirmed the problem to Banglanews.
Monirul said a Barishal-bound covered van strike a stranded truck, that was being repaired on the road, at 3:00am, leaving it is driver and helper dead at that moment.
